Chenonceaux

Approaching through an avenue of trees, visitors get tantalising glimpses of the Chateau Chenonceaux, with its formal gardens looking much as they did after its restoration in the 19^th century. There is ample parking at Chenonceaux and it is very close to Tours in the Touraine wine region.
