The most picturesque Loire chateau, with grounds and gardens laid out in the style of an English park. Surrounded by water, part of which is the river Indre. Well worth a visit with its paintings of the Valois Kings and state apartments. In the village is a 12th / 15th Century church built into the façade of an earlier church built in the 5th / 6th Centuries.
